Training & Experience: I consider it an honor to listen with the Holy Spirit while guiding others along their spiritual journey to a deeper awareness of God’s loving presence in their daily lives. I received my Certificate in the Art & Practice of Spiritual Direction at the Mercy Center and co-led an Exercises of St Ignatius group which both enriched my own spiritual transformation. I also have a fulfilling career as a college counselor and instructor and practice as a life coach for personal and vocational calling, often using the Enneagram as an assessment tool. All these experiences have given me the grace to companion others in their search for more meaning and connection with their own passion and purpose in life, with God, and with others. Denominational Affiliation: I’ve attended both a non-denominational and a Presbyterian church in the Bay Area serving as a Deacon and on leadership teams with singles, small groups, spiritual formation and women’s ministries. Specialties: I offer individual Spiritual Direction for all ages and stages of life where you may be experiencing life transitions, personal and vocational discernment, or loss and grief in painful relationships. There are several ways to approach your Journey through Individual or Group Spiritual Direction, Personal Coaching, Workshops, ½ day Retreats, Small Groups, Experiential Practices, and more. Style of Direction: The Contemplative Center describes Spiritual Direction as a form of “holy listening and attending to the Spirit of God in daily life.” My style is to create a safe and contemplative space where you become more aware of God’s presence and love in your relationships; where you discover a renewed passion and purpose in your “calling”; and where you experience daily spiritual formation practices. Fee: I offer a sliding fee scale based on your personal circumstance. We would schedule a brief conversation to assess your needs and discuss how spiritual direction would benefit you. Personal Information: I’m grateful to pursue my 2nd Calling as a Spiritual Director and to continue seeking lifelong learning opportunities and spiritual pilgrimages. My interests include discovering new places to hike, cultivating creative pursuits, engaging in community service and enjoying time with friends and family.
