For Spiritual Directors

Professional Community
We provide a standard of practice in the ministry of spiritual direction that follows the Spiritual Directors International ethical guidelines for this sacred work. Our member community meets annually to renew our commitment to our work and the Center. Learn more about our community here.

SUpervision
We offer group supervision two times a year, January-May and August-December. Email contact@ccsv.org for more information. We also have trained supervisors for individual supervision. You can check out our Director profiles to find a supervisor fit for you.
SPACE
We are graciously sheltered by Westhope Presbyterian Chruch and have two rooms specifically dedicated to spiritual direction for our directors to use. On property there is a labyrinth and prayer spiral that is open to the public from sunrise to sunset.

For Everyone

Individual Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction is a one hour session where a trained listener compassionately holds space to attend with you to the work of the Holy in your life. Learn more about Spiritual Direction and read our Director profiles.
Group Spiritual Direction
Group direction is a small group of up to 5 participants who meet together about once a month. We listen with one another using a specific guided process that trusts each ones own ability to hear the Holy. To inquire about joining a group email contact@ccofsv.org.
Spiritual Retreats/Classes
We believe there are a variety of ways to find healing and guidance, and that a holistic approach is best. Some of our past offerings have included:
Transformation Thru Movement with Janet Lee, physical therapist and feledkrais practitioner, Creative Retreats with artist/coach Wendy Toda, Labyrinth Retreat with Lauren Artress,  and Advent Retreats led by our spiritual directors.
GUest speakers on the contemplative life
We invite guest presenters from around the country to share with us from their area of expertise. We have been blessed to have speakers such as:
Philip Newell from his work in the field of Celtic
Don Bisson on contemplative response to our world
Alexander Shaia on Quadratos
Jan Richardson on grief
To be informed on who is coming, you can share your email with us on our home page.

Labyrinth and Sacred sprial
Open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Should you be interested in a private or group walk with a facilitator please contact a director for further information. Read, "How do I use the labyrinth and sacred spiral?" on our blog page.
Taize
On a small hill in the Burgundy region of France sits a vibrant community of prayer. It has become holy space for many seeking God in a deeper way. The monastery of Taize is a welcoming community that invites people from around the world to come and pray and be in community. At the heart of their style of prayer are simply sung prayers that are meant to be sung over and over again. It is a beautiful time of deepening in our own sense of God with us, as well as, in community. Join us for our monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm.  All are welcome to attend.
