The Contemplative Center of Silicon Valley

We are a community of ecumenical Christian spiritual directors who seek to live contemplatively, follow established ethical practices of spiritual direction as we offer space for all people to slow down, listen to the wisdom within, and find soul-rest and renewal for work in the world.

Topic: Accessibility of Spiritual Direction for the Neurodiverse with Lindsay Demary
With an estimated 15-20% of the worldwide population meeting criteria of some type of neurodivergence, it’s time we talk about how accessible our work of spiritual direction is or isn’t to neurodiverse folks. Lindsay is a spiritual director and mother of neurodivergent kids and has found that most of what she’s learned applies well to her work with neurodivergent individuals in the direction room.
