Training & Experience: I am fortunate to be part of authentic spiritual formation programs in spiritual direction and the contemplative life ~ three year Spiritual Direction Program at Mercy Center Burlingame, and two year Contemplative Program with the Center for Action and Contemplation: The Living School with Fr. Richard Rohr, Brian McLaren, Jim Finley, Barbara Holmes and Cynthia Bourgeault. My ministry providing individual and group spiritual direction and retreats since 2011 continues to feed my soul.
Denominational Affiliation: While steeped in both Protestant evangelicalism and Catholic traditions, I was raised as a Christian in a Muslim country. I hold a wide and generous ecumenical Gospel.
Specialties: I work with men, women, parents of special needs children, post incarcerated women, college students, third culture kids, hospice, caregivers, and many people who find their way to me on their faith journey.
Style of Direction: As a spiritual director I am listening for the presence, movement, and invitation of the mystery we call God in your stories and the experiences you bring for sharing. Together we can discover where God shows up in your life.
Personal Information: My life experiences of love, suffering, death, laughter, recovery, healing and adventure make me curious. My love of art, teaching and coaching opens my eyes to see the beauty and potential of each person. I am a former California public school teacher. My current artistry is as a metalsmith and iconographer. I love spending time with my husband and three adult children and their families. All these experiences have informed me as a listener and as a seeker of God.
