Training and Experience: I graduated from the 3-year Mercy Center Art and Practice of Spiritual Direction Program in 2016.
Denominational Affiliation: I grew up in a Christian home, but spent over 20 years away from God, totally doing my own thing. I finally realized that Jesus Christ is in fact The Way, The Truth, and The Life. The subsequent years have been spent in non-denominational Christian churches. My husband and I are currently part of a home church gathering of Believers.
Specialties: I provide individual spiritual direction in the Christian belief system in the Mid-peninsula and in the Los Gatos/Saratoga area.
Style of direction: As an individual speaks of and processes their experiences of life, I offer deep and compassionate listening. I try to notice and discern with the individual how God might be present and working in a particular situation or events of life. I also enjoy helping people discover spiritual practices that might help them grow deeper in their relationship with God.
Personal information: Currently I enjoy sewing, swimming, reading, gardening, walking, and hanging out with my husband. My husband and I volunteer at and serve on the Board of Directors of Daybreak Camp, a Christian camping facility in Felton; mentor couples; volunteer with Family Life Weekend-to- Remember; and volunteer with Redwood City Little League. I also volunteer as a GED mentor at JobTrain in Menlo Park.
